Journaling

Keeping a journal is a great way to track your progress.  It doesn't have to be technical like a research study.  Writing down thoughts, emotions, and things that made an impact on your growth can be recorded in a journal.

This blog is my journal.  I hope you enjoy it, but be sure to write for yourself as well.  (Also here is a blog post with a list of starter steps to Live-Like-Vacation.)

Here are some repetitive themes from my blog posts: (More will be added on as I continue the blog.)

1.  When was your last vacation?  Did it help you truly rest so you could renew your spirit?

2.Can you identify some "ruts" you want to get out of?

3.  How is your sleep routine?  Do you fully understand the importance of an authetically restful sleep routine?  List some of the reasons you are still up at night depriving yourself from sleep.  If you have tried a new sleep routine, have some of these reasons resolved?  Are there other ways to address them so you can get to bed earlier?

4.  What parts of your diet, eating schedule, eating on the run, hinder your day?  How do they hinder your health and productivity?

5.  When or during what kind of situations are you more likely to listen to your body's needs?  When are you more likely to ignore your body's messages?  What are the results of ignoring your body's needs?

6.  Do you have priorities that are out of order?

7.  Do you make your work joyful for yourself and others?

8.  What ordinary life chores seem to get in the way for you?

9.  At your job, can you negotiate your way through your position so you feel as if you are making a difference in your company?

10.  At your job, can you approach #9  in a way so it is a win-win for your financial needs as well as the needs of your boss?

11. Are you trying to control the world or inspire the world?

12.  What are your perceptions that lead you to a faulty fight or flight reaction?
